It's with great sadness to report that Madelyn Dunham has passed away after a bout with cancer. The 86 year-old woman was the grandmother of Barack Obama. Our hearts and prayers go out to their family.

I saddened to hear the news of Barack's Grandmother passing. She raised such a great man. I am sad that she will not see the man she raised be our next President of the United States.
